Project Overview

One system for managing the details that keep plants alive.

Botanix was created as a private web application for managing a personal plant collection through organized schedules, reminders, records, images, and maintenance history.

The project grew into a complete full-stack application with user authentication, cloud storage, real-time data updates, responsive layouts, and structured plant-management workflows.

The Problem

Plant care becomes difficult when schedules, photos, and records live in different places.

The goal was to replace scattered notes and memory-based routines with one application capable of organizing recurring care tasks, plant history, visual progress, and long-term maintenance.

01

Care Scheduling

Track watering, fertilizing, maintenance, and recurring care dates for each plant individually.

02

Plant Records

Store plant details, care history, notes, images, and updates in a structured cloud database.

03

Progress Tracking

Create a visual history of growth, condition changes, and completed maintenance over time.

Core Features

A complete plant-management workflow built around real use.

User Authentication Cloud Firestore Database Real-Time Data Sync Plant Profiles Watering Schedules Fertilizing Schedules Maintenance Reminders Image Uploads Growth Tracking CRUD Operations CSV Import & Export Responsive Design

The Build

Designed as a working system, not a static interface.

Botanix required the interface, database, authentication, file storage, and user workflows to operate together reliably across the entire application.

01

Application Logic

Built create, read, update, and delete workflows for plant records, care tasks, notes, and schedule changes.

02

Cloud Infrastructure

Connected Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and file storage to support secure persistent user data.

03

User Experience

Organized complex plant-care information into responsive workflows that remained understandable and practical to use.

Final Status

Fully functioning and built for continued personal use.

Botanix was completed as a working private web application rather than a concept or limited prototype.

The final build supported real plant records, persistent cloud data, images, care schedules, reminders, responsive interaction, and continued day-to-day use.
